The permanent noise measurement network

Context reminder: Created in 1996, the soundscape and noise observatory of Greater Lyon is a development of Acoucité (read).

This is an association created in 1996 by Greater Lyon and public technical research centres.

This is also a national competence center on urban sound environment.

Its goal: promote links between research and operational needs of local authorities, in particular for traffic noise.

Acoucité is involved in national and European research programs and animates local authority networks.

Since 2004, the association develops with Greater Lyon the permanent noise measurement network.
