Informing and communicating on noise in the light of research work relating to Greater Lyon

Since about 10 years, several research work addressing the information and communication issues were undertaken concerning Greater Lyon.
These tasks were funded by the Ministry of the Environment, by the French Environmental Agency (ADEME), and by the European Commission (Life program).
This presentation is a synthesis of this research work with particular attention on the ways to present the information through noise mapping as well as on the expectations and the perception of the public in this field.
